Solar Energy System

The solar panels contain photo-voltaic cells that capture the sun light to use as electricity for your home. The inverter then converts sun light from direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC), which is the same type of energy that can be used to power your home.

Utility Metering

Your energy consumption is measured by the utility meter. When the solar panels produce more electricity than is needed during peak sun hours, excess electricity is automatically sent to the grid (utility company) and the electric meter actually spins backwards, building a bank of credits at the utility company.

Power Grid

Interconnection system allow consumers to generate some or all of their own electricity. With this technology, the surplus energy is sent to the power grid which translates to a credit in the customers utility account, thus allowing them to use the power generated during the day at night.
